Barrier Grid Animation

A 'Barrier Grid Animation' is a technique that utilises moving coloured bars across thin rectangles to create an optical illusion of a animated image. This illusion can also works in both physical and virtual form.

This image for example, when animated, will show four images of the seasons behind my logo.

Below is a demonstration of this animation in action. The video progresses through different methods from shifting images, cascading typography and warped graphics.
